Veterans Financial Emergency Preparedness Workshop

This is an excellent mini workshop for veterans and military busy during the day but want more information about their VA benefits, resources and services for veterans seeking assistance in making important financial decisions. 

There will also be resource information for veteran and military persons, especially service disabled veterans, seeking new jobs, new careers, seeking to start their own business, get veteran contracts or housing grants.  

The  current veteran business owner, especially the service disabled veteran seeking to get federal contracts as a contractor, sub-contractor or in a teaming relationship from $3,000 to $5 million dollars in veteran utilizing their veteran benefits  with a veteran owned business designation, could find information here they did not know or know how to use. While credit and personal financials are important in getting credit and loans, there are exceptions.  Find out what they are. 

If you are an emerging veteran business, find out how to set up a savings plan where the government will give you an additional 200% of what you save, over a year up to $4,000 for the $2,000.00 you save, grant money to use in your small business or for a home. 

For veterans starting their own nonprofit organization and seeking grants, there will be basic resource information available for to assist you.

By the way, if you have been working for at least 6 months on a job, you can use this money after a year of savings to start your own business and create a job for yourself.

Veterans will receive tips, a list of resources and a “Basic Blue Print for Developing their Own "Financial Emergency Plan."
